Son Lux: Win 2 Tickets + Signed Vinyl

Son Lux will be stopping by Chattanooga May 25th at our city’s newest venue, Revelry Room, plus a few other Southern dates during their 2016 April/May tour in-support of their instant 2015 classic LP “Bones.”

The band has teamed up with Tunespeak to give some lucky fans a chance to win tickets to a show near them PLUS a signed vinyl of “Bones”… the only catch:

A.) You need a Facebook account, and
B.) You need to give Tunespeak permission to put a creepy app onto your account that wants to receive information like friends list, public profile, and music activity, just to name a few…

Clear Plastic Masks return to Chattanooga this Thursday, December 6th at The Honest Pint! And on-top of that, Muscle Shoals, AL’s The Pollies are making their Chattanooga debut. Plus add locals Eight Knives in the mix and you’ve got one heck of a can’t-miss show for a Thirsty Thursday evening… And one lucky reader will have a chance to score a pair of tickets for free!

Brooklyn’s Clear Plastic Masks have been living in Nashville the past month recording their new record at Bomb Shelter Studios (the same studio the new Alabama Shakes and Denney and the Jets material were recorded). The last time we had to chance to catch this 4-piece live was last July at Track 29 during our very first South Rail Presnets… And speaking of the A-Shakes, the Brooklyn boys have recently been working on new material with Alabama Shakes’ front-woman Brittany Howard along with Nashville’s Fly Golden Eagle in the new super group Thunderbitch. The Pollies are touring this Fall/Winer in support of their new LP ‘Where The Lies Begin.’ If you haven’t checked it out yet, do it now. Worth every second of your time (full album stream below). And like we said, this will be their Chattanooga debut! Looking forward to catching these guys live!

In celebration of Majestico‘s brand new 7-inch, ‘Love Is God,’ which is the newest release to drop from Jeffery Drag Records, the psych-surf 5-piece collective are throwing a FREE record release party at Nashville’s The Groove on Saturday, September 22nd!… The party is FREE, the beer is FREE and the line-up is HUGE, featuring South Rail favorites Ranch Ghost, Promised Land, Western Medicine and special guests along with headliners Majestico, all in one night! The show starts at 4pm (CST), and the brand new 7-inch will be for sale at the show.

Can’t make it to Nashville on Saturday, but still want a copy of the record? Well… you’re in luck! We will be giving a copy of Majestico’s ‘Love Is God’ 7-inch to one lucky reader! This is all you need to do:

The nice people at Hardly Art have given us 2 vinyl copies of Gold Leaves‘ debut LP ‘The Ornament’ to give away to 2 lucky readers! The LP, which just dropped Tuesday (8/16), is a project that has been years in the making. Put together by Grant Oslen (Arthur & Yu), the album features guest appearances such as Thao Nguyen (Thao & the Get Down Stay Down, Thao & Mirah), Amy Blaschke (Night Canopy), and The Moondoggies… We have been very excited about the release of this album. Definitely a 2011 gem needed for anyone’s collection!
