We recently had the privilege to see The David Mayfield Parade at Rhythm & Brews last week and got to celebrate David’s birthday at the end of the show with a few cocktails… If you haven’t heard of David Mayfield or his new band The David Mayfield Parade, you surely HAVE heard of David Mayfield…. here’s why:
• David Mayfield, is a Grammy-nominated musician and producer who has previously performed with:
– Cadillac Sky
– The Avett Brothers
– Jessica Lea Mayfield (his sister)
David’s songwriting abilities along with his many musical talents have evolved into what is now known as the David Mayfield Parade. This highly charged ensemble has brought the true roots of early rock-n-roll and singer/ songwriter-country music back… BUT of course, David Mayfield has added a little flair to make it his own. The live performance is an explosion of Carl Perkins meets bluegrass hoedown….forcing the audience to enjoy every second of it.
