The South Rail has been diggin’ on the new Lou Barlow (lead singer from Sebadoh) solo album that came out this fall. ‘Goodnight Unknown,’ Barlow’s second solo LP, caught our ear right off the bat. We heard that Sebadoh writing style we had grown to love, but enjoyed the new melodic vibe that Barlow describes as, “a cross between my later work with Folk Implosion and my earlier work with Sebadoh…to my ears, anyway.”
