We were recently introduced to The Parting Gifts, a killer side project featuring songwriters Greg Cartwright (The Oblivians, Compulsive Gamblers, Reigning Sound) and Coco Hames (The Ettes, Coco Motion). Their debut LP (due this Nov via In The Red) began as a one-off 7″ split but within no time evolved into a full-length album.
And if that wasn’t enough, the album also features performances from The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach and The Greehornes/The Raconteurs drummer Patrick Keeler!
