Bad Cop: 7-Inch split w/ Turbo Fruits and April Tour

Nashville’s Bad Cop are pairing up with Cage the Elephant this April for a short run of tour dates beginning April 13th (see full list below)… Shortly following that, the band will be releasing a new 7-inch split with Turbo Fruits on Prince Cook Records. The record will feature the Bad Cop track ‘Wet Lips’ and ‘Love Tennessee’ from Turbo Fruits. Check back HERE next month for details.

Turbo Fruits’ Jonas Stein Starts Record Label

Turbo Fruits‘ founder Jonas Stein has recently launched his own record label, Turbo Time Records, with the roaster of Turbo Fruits (for course) and Nashville’s PUJOL (who has recently released a 7″ with Jack White’s Third Man Records label )…. And Tuesday marked the release of the Turbo Time’s first 2 releases: PUJOL’s ‘Alive At the Same Time’ 7? & Turbo Fruits’ ‘Where the Stars Don’t Shine’ 7?

Turbo Fruits ‘Colt .45’ — 7" Release Show

Turbo Fruits will be headlining Nashville’s The End February 20th along with Surfer Blood and Holiday Shores to celebrate the release of their newest single ‘Colt .45.’ The 7″ vinyl is a limited pressing and will be released via CASS Records. It includes an early demo of their single ‘Broadzilla’ as a B-side — both singles are exclusive to this release. Head on over to the Turbo Fruits myspace and have a listen to ‘Colt .45!’

Monotonix and Turbo Fruits: This Sunday at JJ’s Bohemia (Chattanooga, TN)

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! If you are in the Chattanooga area this weekend (1/24), come on out to JJ’s Bohemia for a GREAT line-up featuring Monotonix and Turbo Fruits!

Straight-outta Tel Aviv Israeli, Monotonix are currently touring for their latest LP ‘Where Were You When It Happened‘ which came out last fall. Known for their outlandish live acts, this is a CAN’T MISS SHOW for Chattanooga. Check out some live features below and download their single ‘Set Me Free’ off of their new LP (available now).

Turbo Fruits (featuring ex-Be Your Own Pet member Jonas Stein) are on tour supporting their 2nd record ‘Echo Kid‘ and will be on tour next month with Surfer Blood and Holiday Shores… Go to their main site to preview ‘Echo Kid’ and download THREE tracks including ‘Mama’s Mad Cos I Fried My Brain’ ‘On the Road’ and ‘International Language of Love.’
